Odd Fagerland told us that Joen bought part of Fagerland Farm from Malene’s father. Fagerland goes back a long way in our family!
Nevertheless, a family tree indicates that Joen and Malene raised their children at Sund Farm, Kopervik Parish. They had at least four children, born 1740 – 1752. Jacob, their second, was born 1743.
